MADE OUT OF BABIES - THE RUINER 1xlp 120gr. brown marble

Devastating. Few other words could fully capture the intensity and impact of the third MADE OUT OF BABIESalbum,The Ruiner. Here, the quartet hits harder than ever, but also with a stupefying creative subtlety and decisive finality.
Those who’d seen and/or heard MADE OUT OF BABIES over the course of the past four years and two albums,Trophy (2005) and Coward (2006) would certainly attest to the band’s longstanding intimidating grunt and snarl. Julie Christmas — who Decibel Magazine called “metal’s most riveting frontwoman” and Revolver Magazine featured prominently in a piece on women singers in metal. Guitarist Brendan Tobin layers crafty melodies and soaring effects into his leaden six-string strata, as bassis Cooper reveals an immense melodic depth to his lunging attack and drummer Matthew Egan maintains his relentlessly driving lean-in-to-the-beat blood-splattering rhythms, but also sounds more focused, deliberate and intense than ever before. The sum total transforms into something immensely powerful that will endure for ages beyond them.
There’s no rock machismo in the sounds of MADE OUT OF BABIES, which just might be what makes it so unsettling and unique. There is a glamor and distinction to its cathartic caterwaul. Its beauty will certainly be in the eye of the beholder, but meanwhile its ugliness is sneaking up from behind…

Radiohead - OK Computer 2xLP 180Gr. Black

180-gram audiophile pressing double pressing in a Gatefold jacket. One of the best alternative rock albums of the 1990s. OK Computer is a modern guitar rock masterpiece. The music is subtle and textured, yet it still has the feeling of rock and roll. This is the record that established Radiohead as one of the most inventive and rewarding guitar rock bands of the ‘90s. Best ever, ever, ever, ever!!!!!!!

ENVY - Recitation 2XLP 180Gr. clear/light grey/black swirl !

First 500 copies on clear/light grey/black swirl vinyl.
VINYL FORMAT. There is a precise point early on in Recitation where it dawns on us that there truly is no other band quite like Envy. Ninety seconds into album opener "Guidance," amid a subtle symphony of synth washes, backwards guitar harmonics and chiming bells, a solitary female voice recites what sounds like a poetry in a language that few Envy fans outside of Japan can understand. And yet, its beauty is undeniable, and its emotional resonance is transcendent, sounding like a Japanese love letter to Brian Eno. This is why labels like "post-hardcore" tend to feel clumsy and slippery when slung at Envy; such tags assume a starting point that's miles away from where Envy began and worlds away from where they are now. It's no surprise that Envy have increasingly found inspiration in instrumental rock and experimental ambient music - genres that historically circumvent cultural trappings. With each album since their inception in the early '90s, the group has chipped away at the linguistic and cultural barriers inherent in international rock music. Their breakthrough came with 2003's A Dead Sinking Story, the groundbreaking third album that replaced familiar hardcore breakdowns with the sound of actual emotional breakdowns, and - along with Isis and Explosions in the Sky - helped blur the lines between more than a few genres. That began a transition that leads straight to Recitation, by far the most dynamic, technically diverse and emotionally complex album of Envy's two-decade career. Where recent co-releases with fellow underground rock icons Thursday and Jesu hinted at a band in transition, Recitation is a fully realized vision from a band at their most inspired.

OCEANSIZE - Self Preserved While The Bodies Float Up 1xLP 180Gr Marble

Just 300 of the white and solely 200 of the marbled vinyl are available worldwide. Self Preserved While the Bodies Float Up is Oceansize’s masterpiece. It embodies everything the band has been trying to achieve in over a decade of recording, and only now with the combination of maturity, experience and the acceptance that you just can’t please everybody, has the band fully realised its potential. Self Preserved is a consistent and engaging listen, and while the band’s previous efforts were certainly rewarding, the attention to detail shown here makes Self Preserved much more so. Now that Oceansize are doing it for themselves – and not to satiate a shallow demographic that they feel they should appeal to – the results are more pleasing than ever.
